Born at 26.5 weeks gestation, Sarah’s story is one of survival, hope, and healing. One of 11 siblings living in extreme poverty conditions, after being sexually abused by a family member, she was adopted at age nine by a loving family after spending seven and a half years in the Louisiana Foster Care system.

Sarah serves as the Senior Director of Public Relations and Communication at Americans United for Life. Her lifelong fidelity to the right to life has been a defining element of her journey, most notably during her tenure as Communications Director at Louisiana Right to Life, a state affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee.

Beyond Louisiana, she has held leadership positions with Colorado Family Action, a policy partner of Focus on the Family, and Colorado Citizens for Life. In 2022, Sarah published her story through Moody Publishers to investigate the complex factors that influence abortion decisions.

Sarah frequently testifies before members of Congress and in state legislatures on born alive infant protections and unveils the consequences of a culture misled by the guise of “choice.”
