January 21st marks Sanctity of Human Life Sunday.
It’s observance of National Sanctity of Human Life Day on January 22nd, where Ronald Reagan and the Christian Church announced, “Enough.” In 1984, it was still impossible to place limits on abortion. However, America still rose up to make a difference.
What does this mean for us and for the church?
Reagan and Christian America stood up for pre-born life in 1984. Now, as we move into 2018, it’s our turn to carry the torch – to stand for those who cannot.
- As individuals we can educate ourselves in understand life in the womb. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hears, revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepare to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give a reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect…”
- As a church we can stand together as a united front in respect for life, born and pre-born. We can educate ourselves, our fellow church members, and our families.
Sanctity of Life Sunday offers a unique chance to educate ourselves, take a stand, and learn ways to support the Pregnancy Helpline Centers in our communities. Request a speaker for your church and book a Sunday to recognize the lives lost and make a difference.
